Your home, business and letted properties should therefore be inspected and tested at regular intervals to check whether they are in a satisfactory condition for continued use. We are a NICEIC accredited contractor and are also registered with Trust mark giving you the confidence that all inspection and testing will be carried out to BS 7671, the UK standard for the safety of electrical installations.

To ensure the safety of your family, employees or tenants, electrical installations should be inspected and tested every:

  • 10 Years or change in ownership for an owner occupied home

  • 5 years or change in ownership for commercial premises

  • 5 years or change in tenancy for a rented property

  • 3 years for industrial, educational establishment, hospitals and public entertainment establishments

  • 1 year for swimming pools and caravan parks

  • 3 months for a construction site

What To Expect Following An Electrical Test

Once your electrical installation has been inspected and tested, we will provide you with a condition report detailing items requiring attention and recommendations for improvements. We will discuss and clearly explain the outcome of the report, providing a satisfactory electrical certificate if the installation meets the required standard or at the customer’s request provide a quotation for any remedial work that is required.
